Defending Champions Win Marathon Hamburg

Defending champion Bernard Koech and fellow-Kenyan Irine Cheptai won the 2023 Haspa Marathon Hamburg with fast times. Koech crossed the finish line in 2:04:53, while Cheptai finished in 2:23:45.

Koech and Cheptai both defended their titles from 2022. Koech has now won the Marathon Hamburg twice, while Cheptai has won it three times.

The Marathon Hamburg is a World Athletics Elite Label Road Race. The race takes place on Sunday April 23 at 9:00am.
