Trump pleaded not guilty to 37 criminal charges, including conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstruction of an official proceeding of Congress, and making false statements to investigators.

The indictment accuses Trump of leading a "seditious conspiracy" to prevent the transfer of power to President Joe Biden by pressuring state officials to change election results, inciting a mob to storm the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and attempting to obstruct the congressional certification of Biden's victory.
